On APIClone, cloud variables are implemented on Scratch 3.0. However, here they just result in a 502 Bad Gateway error.

Turns out there was a bug preventing APIClone from starting under ASGI, which I have fixed. I also decided to run the entire site under daphne again. Edit: In case you're curious, I forgot exactly what errors I got, but they had to do with the settings module being unset and apps not being initialized I think.

And now it's just a 404 and I have no idea if the frontend or backend is causing it. Amazing!

And it seems daphne froze while I was asleep, and openrc somehow couldn't stop it properly, so I had to pkill -9 it. Hopefully that won't happen again…

The site now seems to be quite unstable after switching back to ASGI via daphne. Maybe I should just switch back to my previous setup at this point… Edit: and it's back. As I said in one of my profile comments, I probably won't update chipmunk.land/misc for now as Pleroma's instance static folder currently has a whole copy of pleroma-fe. Edit 2: back to WSGI I mean

So it seems as if cloud variables work now! Maybe an APIClone update fixed them? Also since I'm back to using a setup with separate WSGI and ASGI servers, I'll have to be more careful about making sure ASGI support doesn't break, lest I unknowingly have the server failing to run for a while like I mentioned in the first reply.
